Built in 1853, this five-story, seven-unit multi-family building will be converted into a modern single-family residence. The front façade will be repainted to match the original brick, windows on the front and rear façade will be replaced, and the interior will be gutted to allow for new interior partitions within the existing framework.
The rear of the cellar level will be excavated to create space for a gym, while the rear elevation that spans from the basement to the third floor will be removed and replaced with a transitional contemporary-style exterior with masonry, glass, and window units.
The fourth-story deck parapet at the rear façade will be rebuilt to prevent further water infiltration. Lastly, a new fence and landscaping will be designed for the rear yard.
